After we met, Aura got me to Santa Fe where the Santa Fe Institute was founded by Los Alamos scientists.. Like me, they also think increasing complexity is inevitable. Organization evolves so that, in a city for instance, people are connected by clubs, phones, streets, various ways.

At the Institute they are making “complexity theory” to find what drives increasing complexity, no matter in society, forests, bacteria colonies, everything. Interesting books they’ve written are Roger Lewin’s “Complexity: Life at the Edge of Chaos” and M.Mitchel Waldrop’s “Complexity: The Emerging Science at the Edge of Order and Chaos”.
